Mating has begun here at Sauble Beach, with males strutting their stuff and showing off for two females that have settled on the shoreline. This means that nesting could start any day now! With that in mind, Volunteer Monitors are needed to help with recovery efforts.

For more information about getting involved, email coordinator@ploverlovers.com or visit our earlier post: http://ploverlovers.com/2016/04/piping-plovers-looking-for-monitors-at-sauble-beach/

If you spot an egg please contact 1-877-TIPS-MNR (1-877-847-7667) or coordinator@ploverlovers.com. Please DO NOT tell anyone else the location of the nest.
